Comic for August 28, 2006!

In the seventh panel, the book cover says "haiku" in tiny possibly-illegible hirigana, and the poem in the air next to it is Basho's famous haiku about the frog jumping into the pond.

A lot of the otherkin/therians I know (most of whom are dragons) are at least moderately interested in helping the environment, hespa in particular.
