This week's comic.

Transcript: Today’s guest comic is by Lauren. A contented dragon sleeps atop a hoard of colorfully wrapped gifts. Holiday symbols float overhead: a menorah, a Christmas tree, and a pentacle. The caption says, “Dragons like to celebrate all the holidays. Mmmm, shiny.”

Oh yes... Im a corvid - the urge to collect usless shiny junk is not just a draconic trait. Dragons just have higher standards.

*g* I know. I've heard from the gryphons as well. The main reason that it's a dragon is because it was the easiest for me to draw, since I'm not a brilliant artist.

Dragons just have higher standards.

That... is debatable };=8>

Intrinsic shininess/prettiness generally scores higher with me than external (humanocentric) value. I'm not particularly fond of the tradional jewels, for example, particularly diamonds, because you can get just as good an effect from good cut crystal at a fraction of the cost! And semi-precious or even common stones can be much more interesting and varied. I have a small hoard of £1 coins, just for the different pictures ^.^ I don't sleep on them though, there aren't quite enough to make a pile *G*

I think a lot of us do!

Dragons are the only ones I can draw so far. I'm working on building up my drawing abilities, though.

Ain't that the truth! About dragons and holidays, I mean (speaking from personal experience). Bring on the eats!

And kudos to Lauren, who draws far better than I think I ever will. ^..^
