And today's comic would be something I have only done once to my knowledge, and completely by accident...

Hehe. What a great way to stretch the legs when you're confined to one spot! I know the feeling.

Ah, astral projection. Sits on one of those curious sorts of boundaries. You don't have to believe in magic to believe in it, or otherkin, or in any of the other nifty tricks that people accomplish with will or psychic ability.

Sort of an equalizer, I suppose.

Something I've never tried, for that matter.

Actually, I've always had a funny relationship with magic, metaphysics, and psychic ability.

I'll believe it exists, I'll believe *you* can do it, if I wasn't worried about bothering or annoying someone with my ignorance/inquisitiveness I'd probably ask a lot more questions, but....I fall a bit short of practicing myself.

Sort of. Reading books on wicca/paganism/magic/shamanism is responsible for my habit of leaving my jewelry (and the rocks that I like to carry around in my pockets) in front of an open window, everynight. I have a stick that I don't do *anything* with, but get all twitchy if anyone picks it up without my permission. And I used to polish it with lemon oil until I ran out. And I have a growing collection of feathers, some in my car, some here in my room.

At other times, I'd like to think that, or I *know* that, I'm feeling energy. My own, at least. I can see that funny little aura of "difference" around people pretty easily, but I'm inclined to think that's a visual trick of afterimages or such. But whether I'm actually shaping energy into some nifty sort of construct, or sending it where it could be useful, I'm never quite as sure. Still, I think energy manipulation is fascinating, and I'd like to learn.

My friend and neighbor down the hall once mentioned she has a pair of red wings on her back. I'm inclined to believe her, but I'd still like to see them for myself.

...and, of course, I know, that just about all or any of this could be changed if I just decided to set aside a little time to practice, or study, or what-have-you, and then I could do a bit more than dip my toes in the stream of Cool Stuff. Peer through the keyhole.

But for now, I remain curious, uncommitted, and believing.

Yeah, that's more-or-less how I feel... I'm trying out different things on a casual basis, including Wicca and paganism, and reserving judgment until one sticks. Where OOBE's are concerned, I'm not convinced that consciousness is anything more than local, but then I'm not totally convinced otherwise, either. Call me an experience-hungry agnost.

Mind if I add you?

To your friends list? Sure, if you like. I'll warn you, I don't talk about these sorts of things on my blog all that often, but go right ahead. ^_^
