That comic is too true, actually.

I think that NaNo is a good idea and is good writing practice, to write without worrying about (or getting bogged-down in) edits. I would do it, but I don't think I could devote the time in between my studying. I have been working on a couple other projects, too, one being a sort of novel (currently rather bogged-down in editing), the other being rather conceptual and "out there" in terms of format.
