The solution to this is easy: learn how to make steak tartar. It's literally raw meat that has certain seasonings and such on it that kills anything on it. Or barring that you could just forgo the eating of *totally* raw meat and just lightly sear the outer few millimeters. The most dangerous things on steak live on the very surface, which is why you can't easily get a rare burger at a resteraunt anymore but you can get steak that's barely cooked at all.
Or you could do like we do here sometimes and just have small amounts on rare occasions. The only real reaon the appendix in humans is so atrophied in adulthood is that we never feed our kids raw meat while young, so it never gets any exercise. Give it a light workout every now and then, and as long as you're sure the meat is clean (free of disease or parasites) you'll be fine.
